Kate O'Boyle, BSc, PGCE, CSS, MA, MIAHP, MUSABP, MISCA has a Master's Degree in Somatic Psychology (Body Psychotherapy) and developed her practice in Colorado, USA and Ireland. Within the context of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy, she is influenced by Person Centred Psychotherapy, Pre- and Perinatal Psychology, Developmental Theory, Process Oriented Psychology, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing (Trauma Work) and Family systems. She has also trained in EMDR and Hellinger's Systemic Constellation Work. Kate is particulary interested in the use of mindfulness as the basis of developing and sustaining psychological health.
Prior to her training in psychotherapy she had careers in the teaching and social work professions in N. Ireland. Kate has also trained in Contemporary Dance, Contemplative Movement Practice, Yoga and Authentic Movement.
Kate is a psychotherapist at Turning Point, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. She also has a private practice in Clara Vale, Co. Wicklow. She is a member of The Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy, The United States Association for Body Psychotherapy and The International Systemic Constellations Association.
